It is now being reported that the 46-year-old was attacked by three fellow inmates inside HMP Wakefield after ‘being held hostage and battered’, with ‘fears he could die.’that Watkins was found by officers and is currently ‘in a life-threatening condition … if he survives, he’ll be very lucky.’ A witness told the outlet paramedics had treated Watkins in an ambulance outside the prison to save his life before he was rushed to hospital.He had previously fronted Welsh rock band Lostprophets
