Just months after revealing he suffered from Alopecia Barbae, documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux has candidly given an update to his fans - complete with a silver lining
World renowned documentary producer Louis Theroux has candidly opened up to his fans about his ongoing struggle with alopecia, as he issued an update on the condition online.
However, rather than be dismayed by the development, the star did cheekily admit there was a silver lining, as he told his followers: “ BUT I can now grow a weird straggly and rather sparse white beard. Writing at the time, Louis confessed that he suspected the cause was “probably alopecia,” something he has since confirmed.
Louis later confirmed that he did indeed suffer from “alopecia barbae”, an auto-immune condition that sees the body attack its own hairs after believing them to be a threat.
