The reality/soap crossover we never knew we needed
It’s definitely a good time to be Maisie as, as well as her rumoured romance with Joe, she’s also reportedly landed a role on BBC game show Friends Like These following her departure from EastEnders.
A TV insider explained, “Maisie has just filmed a pilot episode and it's unclear if it'll air but it's a great sign she's landing these kind of shows after Strictly and EastEnders. Everyone thought she was really great on the show - she's so naturally funny - so it'll be the first of many new jobs." Meanwhile, Maisie is the first celeb to be linked to Joe after his brief romance with TOWIE’s Frankie Sims. Viewers of the ITVBe show were shocked to see Joe pop up onscreen on a series of dates with Chloe Sims’ younger sister, but unfortunately things eventually fizzled out between them.
