Love Island star Liberty Poole was trembling when she issued a warning to fans after being followed by a stranger.
Taking to Instagram, a visibly shaken Liberty went into detail about what had happened and urged women watching to follow their gut should they find themselves in a similar situation.when she noticed a suspicious-looking man looking her ‘up and down’.
‘Then he was following me and looking at me in the aisles and I said to the guy inside, “look I feel off about this guy in there just to let you know”.’supports HTML5 videoAfter returning home, Liberty shared another video with her social media fans thanking them for their kind words Liberty, who has also appeared on ITV’s Dancing On Ice, went on: ‘I had shopping bags and a parcel in my hand so I wouldn’t be able to defend myself and he said “excuse me” and I went “no f**k off” so loudly that I think it scared him and he drove off.
Once she was safely home, Liberty also posted a follow-up video for concerned fans, telling them: ‘Thank you for all the messages, I’m home safe. I’m just a bit shaken up and feel like I’ve escaped something really bad. My gut instinct was screaming at me that something was wrong and then for him to follow me back to my car which wasn’t near the shop.‘It’s just so scary to think what could have happened but luckily I’m safe.
