Sarah Louise Wade passed away peacefully at her home in Rishton
Tributes have been made to a support worker with a ‘heart of gold’ who lit up any room she walked in.
The beloved-mother-of-three worked as a support worker for people with alcohol and substance addiction at Spark in Blackburn. Sarah’s daughter, Ashleigh Ramsbottom, said: “My mum was a very caring, loving and kind person. “So many people have commented on her Facebook page since she passed away saying how she lit up the room and has always been there for people. She had a heart of gold. She was very proud of her great-nephew, Zakariah when he was born, and she was over the moon with him.”
One day Sarah snuck her horse through the garden gate and brought the horse into the kitchen to snack on some apples, much to the surprise of her mother. The former Moorhead High School student lived in the borough her whole life. After moving out of her childhood home, she moved to Altham and then moved to Rishton.
