State Farm, the insurance company for the couple, brought the case to recoup the losses.and The Plain Dealer reached out to Lowe’s, and its local attorney, Nicholas Resetar, for comment. In court filings, Resetar wrote that Lowe’s denies the accusations in the lawsuit.
The lawsuit says the Mosleys bought the Char Grill propane gas grill on July 21, 2021. Lowe’s employees assembled the grill, but they “negligently failed” to properly install the grease tray, according to the lawsuit. The couple used the grill that day.
