Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority said the preliminary results of the national standardised test, which are normally published in August, have been delayed because it requires "closer analysis".
In comparison to the 2021 NAPLAN, ACARA reported participation rates were down by 1 to 2 per cent in primary schools and 2 to 3 per cent in high schools.Year 9 participation rates were below the "technical data standard" of 90 per cent for all tests, ACARA said.Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority said there has been a lower than usual participation rate in NAPLAN this year.
