LSU star Angel Reese has been at the forefront of national discourse after her big championship game showing on Sunday, and continued to sound off on social media on Monday.

From winning a national championship to setting an NCAA record for double-doubles in a season to taunting the national player of the year, it’s been a busy 24 hours for LSU women’s basketball superstar Angel Reese.

The Tigers’ forward continued to speak her mind on Monday, responding on Twitter to a quote from First Lady Jill Biden, who, after attending Sunday’s National Championship game against Iowa, proposed to invite both the winning LSU and losing Hawkeyes to the White House.Reese was responding to a quote from Biden, who after LSU’s 102-85 victory, said she wanted both teams to receive invitations to meet the President.

“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House; we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” Biden said. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come too, because they played such a good game.” Traditionally, only champions have received invitations to Washington D.C. LSU head coach Kim Mulkey said her team would attend if invited.
