Shares of Lucid Group Inc. LCID fell more than 6% in the extended session Wednesday after the EV maker filed for a new share offering and an additional private-placement investment to raise about $3 billion. Lucid said that proceeds from the offering as well as from the private placement will go to general expenses, including capital expenditures and working capital. Lucid earlier this month reported steeper quarterly losses and tweaked its guidance for the year.
