Romelu Lukaku misses THREE glorious chances as Belgium knocked out of World Cup Vatreni BEL
Belgium are out of the World Cup after playing out a goalless draw against Croatia in a match which saw Romelu Lukaku leave his shooting boots at home.
The Chelsea striker, who is on loan at Inter Milan, was brought on for the second half with the game goalless, and was so close to making an impact from the bench just before the hour.The striker knew just how good of a chance that wasYannick Carrasco raced through on goal but saw his effort blocked, with the ball falling into the path of Lukaku, who could only hit the inside of the post from just outside the six yard box.
Lukaku then had two more huge chances as he could only deflect a firm cross from the right wide of the goal from inside the six yard box.All he needed to do was get his head on a cross from the right but the striker inexplicably let the ball drop down to his knees and it was scrambled away by the Croatia defenders.
