Art installations business Grande Experiences has kicked off a fast-growth and scalable pitch to potential buyers, with the hopes of a $1 billion-odd bid.

Highly profitable art installations business Grande Experiences has kicked off a fast-growth and scalable pitch to potential buyers, with the hopes of attracting a $1 billion-odd bid.

Grande Experiences, based in Melbourne and started by Australian businessman Bruce Peterson in 2006, told potential buyers it would record $65 million revenue and $49 million EBITDA in the 2022 financial year, at an eye-watering 75 per cent earnings margin. It said the company had put on immersive, multi-sensory art shows for more than 20 million people globally in the past 15 years, across 160 cities and in 32 languages.

But it says the growth is just beginning; Grande Experiences has told potential acquirers to think about 40 per cent a year topline each year for the coming four years, on a compound annual growth rate basis. Most of that increases is slated to also hit the EBITDA line. The numbers were in a detailed information memorandum sent to potential acquirers and seen by Street Talk. Boutique Luminis Partners is running the investor search.Formally, it’s a growth capital search with Grande Experiences management wanting to increase content, touring experiences and permanent attractions and the owners after an equity injection to make it happen. Informally, tyrekickers reckon founder Peterson could be tempted to sell if given a big enough offer.
