Luton's Tom Lockyer stretchered off at Wembley following collapse LTFC
There were worrying scenes at Wembley Stadium as Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch early in the Championship play-off final.
The Hatters skipper was stretchered off the pitch with 11 minutes on the clock after he tumbled to the turf off the ball.Credit: Getty The 28-year-old Welshman received treatment on the pitch before being carried off by medical staff, with his teammates looking concerned.But Lockyer was conscious when he left the pitch and was taken to the medical room, with reports claiming his parents were with him.
Reacting on commentary for talkSPORT, ex-Premier League striker Dean Ashton said: "It's not great for the players on the pitch, it's unsettling. But they've got to get their heads back into the game now - get their minds focused on what they've got to do."
