Lytham Festival ticket update as organisers issue urgent safety warning
The five-day festival is set to start in two days and run from June 28 to July 2. The annual event on Lytham Green kicks off with a set from Jamiroquai ahead of nightly headline sets from George Ezra, Sting, Lionel Richie.
Lots of people are falling victim to buying tickets off social media and finding these don't work so they aren't able to attend the festival. Posting on Facebook, Lytham Festival organisers said: "We're seeing a lot more activity this year, more than ever before of people commenting on Facebook and Instagram posts offering 'tickets for sale'. We delete these comments when we see them, however they are becoming a prolific issue on Facebook.
"Tickets are digital and can easily be transferred between your friends and family... the barcodes are dynamic and change regularly to keep the tickets secure and you safe. Don't accept screen shots from anyone and people 'walking you in' at the gates who aren't attending themselves is not permitted.
