Bale’s single-source wool partner, at the independently accredited carbon positive Kingston farm in Tasmania.
M.J. Bale’s Lightest Footprint campaign is in mid-flow. Thirty-five kilograms of this first zero-emission wool was entirely processed and hand-made into knits here in Australia. “We refined the process, asking Sea Forest to provide the seaweed in pellet form. We have also begun planning for formal data capture of methane measurements in collaboration with various institutions, with the plan to validate with greater certainty the amount of methane abatement,” Jensen said.
