All traffic being held
The M6 has been closed in both directions and all traffic being held after an accident on the northbound carriageway.
Vehicles on the M6 northbound have been brought to a standstill after the incident, which occurred at approximately 10.10am. The accident has taken place between J22 A49Queues are now said to be building in the area. Traffic monitoring site Inrix, reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M6 Northbound from J22 A49This is a live incident.
