A lorry driver from Rossendale has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a 19-year-old woman died following an M6 crash.
The 19-year-old woman, from Dudley, was a passenger in the Polo and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since sadly died. The driver and another passenger in the Polo, two men in their 20s, remain in hospital with serious injuries.. He remains in custody and is assisting police.
