After the d o double g discarded the Bhoys as quickly as he jumped on the bandwagon, another rapper has taken up the cause.
After Snoop Dogg heel turned and ditched the Hoops for the Feyenoord quarters as soon as the Dutch side saw off his apparently beloved Bhoys, another rapper has taken up the Celtic cause.
Macklemore was spotted dinning the hoops as the rapper/singer played a live gig in New York City. Originally from Seattle, the Grammy winner got up close and personal with the crowd as he played his hit Can't Hold Us. As is the way at gigs these days, all the phones were out to get a close up of him wearing the Premiership champions much maligned 2023/24 Adidas home kit.
Whether Macklemore - real name Benjamin Hammond Haggerty - really is a fan of the Celts or just likes their style isn't really clear. But his world tour is scheduled to hit Glasgow in April 2024. However, chances of him landing a ticket for the final pre-split derby against Rangers at Ibrox that month will be slim to none of the current away fan lockout between Scotland's big two continues.
