The show, which is an adaptation of the unfinished final novel by Edith Wharton, will see the actress take on the role of Mrs St George, appearing alongside the likes of Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse and Mia Threapleton . Hendricks' character is the mother to buccaneers Nan and Jinny and was once the belle of the ball herself, though she became hugely wealthy when her husband struck gold on Wall Street and is in danger of becoming the social climber that she was once bemused by. She also wants her daughters to be happy, though they may soon learn that marriage may not be the key to happiness.
