Madonna got emotional onstage this weekend while discussing her 'miracle' recovery after a June health scare.
The Queen of Pop said she doesn’t "feel very well" but "can’t complain," just months after being rushed to the hospital for a serious bacterial infection., the pop star got choked up while reflecting on the medical emergency that sent her to a hospital for several days in late June.
"Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it," she told the crowd at Sportpaleis arena in aMadonna went on to reference her mother, who died from breast cancer when the future singer was only five years old: "My mother, god bless her, she must be watching over me — she said, 'Girl, it's not your time to go.'"She continued, "I had this strange thought.
Strapping on a guitar as the audience cheered her on, Madonna admitted that she wasn't yet back to full health. "I must tell you I don't feel very well right now," she said. "But I can't complain, because I'm alive. Thank god for my children and all of you, and your love and support."after being found unresponsive in her home."On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU," her manager, Guy Oseary, announced at the time."Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care.
