MAFSAustralia 2023 couples that are still together after cheating scandal

Since first arriving on our screens in 2015, Married At First Sight Australia has gripped viewers around the world with it’s unique take on finding love.

Last year’s series, Season 9, failed to produce any love stories at all - but it did gift the world with a handful of OnlyFans creators. However, the star soon began to question whether the relationship could ever work as she doubted Rupert’s attraction to her when it took him six weeks before he even asked her on a date.

During his vows, Rupert said: "A platonic connection alone is not enough to sustainable a loving and healthy relationship... I feel that I've truly tried to build this foundation with you, but I feel that the pressure was on me.

Lyndall and Cameron In the first episode of MAFS Australia season 10, viewers at home were introduced to Lyndall and Cameron, a couple we were sure would go the distance! "I constantly had to beg for a shred of affection, your time, your attention and your support when I was hurting," Lyndall said. Bronte and Harrison When Bronte and Harrison first appeared on our screens, they were doomed from the very start, as while waiting for his bride, Harrison boldly told her friends and family how she was “lucky” to have bagged a groom like him.

It was during the homestay that the couple were finally pushed to their limits, when grievances were aired and the real truth about some of Harrison’s dodgy antics came to light. However, there was some promise in her relationship with father of one Dan, who she soon warmed to after an awkward meeting, with the pair even forming a strong bond as the days went by.

In fact, he soon ditched his bride to embark on a relationship with one of the wedding guests instead! Like many of the romances this season, things soon went south however, when Claire was caught cheating with fellow contestant Adam in a scandal that rocked the experiment. However that initial spark soon came crashing down after Adam was forced to reveal a few skeletons in his closet early on.

Unfortunately the situation became too much for Janelle and despite receiving a pass from the relationship experts, she made the decision to leave - prompting Adam to storm out without even saying goodbye. After a sea of failed romances, it’s only fair that MAFS delivered one that has the potential to stay the course.

At the end of the experiment, the couple both revealed they were falling for each other and happily said “I do” during the final vows. However it later became apparent that this was not the case, as Shannon brutally revealed to his bride that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, effectively leaving their relationship dead in the water.

It was only downhill from there, with arguments constantly dogging the coupling in the run up to the final vows.
