Sydney Thunder have quickly avenged Monday's WBBL loss to the Hurricanes with their imports starring in a 33-run victory at North Sydney Oval despite a stunning catch from Molly Strano.
A magical catch from Hobart Hurricanes spinner Molly Strano was not enough as impressive innings from imports Heather Knight and Chamari Athapaththu plus some savvy bowling from Hannah Darlington helped Sydney Thunder avenge an early season WBBL on Thursday.
Darlington claimed the big wickets of Lizelle Lee and Heather Graham and Athapaththu completed a good all-round effort by taking 1-11 of three overs of tidy spin, dismissing England star Danni Wyatt-Hodge.
