A magnitude-5.0 earthquake recorded near Apollo Bay just after 2am is felt by thousands of Victorians, and as far away as Tasmania's King Island.
Thousands of Victorians have reported feeling tremors overnight after an earthquake and aftershock struck near the Great Ocean Road.
Among more than 5,000 people who reported feeling the first earthquake were those in the regional city of Bendigo, many across Melbourne and some on Tasmania's King Island.The initial earthquake was recorded at a depth of 8 kilometres, and the aftershock at 10km.
