The lawsuit accused the National Marine Fisheries Service, or NOAA Fisheries, of overlooking the effects on lobster fishing. Delano's group accused the federal government of"invoking hyperbolic, worst-case projections to justify crippling regulations on the beleaguered lobster fisheries."
