won’t play in California next season as originally planned, but West Coast trips will become an annual feature of the Buckeyes’ Big Ten Conference schedule.

Last February, Ohio State canceled a previously scheduled home-and-home with Washington in 2024-25. At the time, it said it would pay the $500,000 cancelation penalty in the contract. According to a program spokesperson, that payment is expected to be negated by mutual agreement of the schools. Now, OSU will play Penn State and Purdue home and away in 2024-25 and Northwestern and Oregon in 2026-27.While the Illibuck trophy rivalry with Illinois does not resume in full, those teams will also play three times in five years.

Over the next five years, OSU will play five opponents three times each and eight opponents twice .2024: Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Purdue, at Michigan State, at Northwestern, at Oregon. at Penn State
