Emergency services have raced to the scene.
Multiple ambulances and fire crews are currently attending a smash between at least two vehicles close to Kingswell.Initial reports suggest the road is closed in both directions with the M77 slip nearby also closed as a result.
One eye-witness said: "I haven't seen an emergency response like that in a long, long time. Ambulances are still going to the scene.Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: "A77 in both directions closed, very slow traffic due to accident from A719 to M77 J6 . The M77 exit slip road is also closed."
