Buses will replace trains and trams on a number of lines and roads will be closed amid major works on Victoria's Big Build projects throughout spring.
Disruptions across Melbourne are mainly a result of construction on the West Gate Tunnel, North East link, Metro Tunnel, and level crossing removals.
The route 19 tram service will also be disrupted between November 21 to 30 for work on a stop to sit alongside the new Parkville Station. Overnight closures will also be in place on the West Gate and Princes freeway in alternating directions on a number of occasions over the coming year. In November over a three-day period, buses will replace trains on parts of the Sunbury, Cranbourne and Pakenham lines. On route 82, buses will replace trams between Saturday, October 7 and Wednesday, October 11 due to work on sections of the line.
Works on level crossing removals will see Camms Road, Cranbourne closed to traffic from October 18 to late November.Buses will replace trains on a number of regional lines later this year. Picture: NCA NewsWire / David Crosling
