Officers and emergency services are in attendance at an incident in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow after being made aware of concern for a person, Police Scotland have now confirmed a woman was found dead at the scene.

Crews raced to Ruby Street in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow after being made aware of concern for a person. Police Scotland have since confirmed a woman was found dead at the scene. Officers were alerted at around 1.45pm on September 1 however, by the time respondents arrived the woman was already pronounced dead.
