BREAKING: A major search effort is continuing for a missing autistic teen who spent the night lost in bushland, with concerns growing about deteriorating weather.
William Wall, 14, has been missing since 6.45am on Tuesday when he left his Launching Place home for his daily walk along the Warburton Trail.
Local police, specialist search and rescue crews, the mounted branch, trail bike riders and State Emergency Service volunteers were scheduled to resume the search on Wednesday morning. Volunteers spent the night calling out “William, this is the SES, can you hear us” in the hope he would be drawn to their voices.
Rain is forecast in the area throughout Wednesday and authorities are desperately hoping William will before nightfall as it is expected to drop to 5C.

There is no third way,” he will say. \n\n“Australia can’t and shouldn’t damage its economy to reduce emissions.” \n\nThe move comes nearly a week after the Morrison government revealed it would broaden the remit of its key energy investment agencies and focus on low emissions technology in a shift away from funding solely wind and solar projects. \n\nThe government did not mention nuclear energy, which was deemed third stage interest. \n\n
