Majority of U.S. workers say they've 'rage applied' to other jobs, mostly because of toxic workplace

Since the COVID pandemic began, we've had "quiet quitting,""The Great Resignation" and now"rage applying." Rage applying is defined as seeking new jobs while fueled by frustration over your current job. The term rose to popularity on TikTok this year, and according to London-based recruitment firm Robert Walters, 67 percent of professionals said they've"rage applied" in the past three months.

More than one-fifth of those who said they dealt with a toxic work environment also blamed their bosses for encroaching on their personal life, leading to a work-life imbalance. Almost 10 percent of respondents cited disagreements with management.
