Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says as the year continues the government will be making sure they “continue to act in a responsible economic way with responsible measures” upon inheriting $1 trillion of debt from the previous government.

Mr Albanese said doing so will “ensure that there is growth” and “that there is

pressure taken off people in terms of living standards and the higher costs of living”.
