Media are reporting that four people have been injured in the alleged shooting at Bogie, north of Mackay.
Police and paramedics took about one hour to arrive at the remote station after being called about 9am on Thursday. A police spokeswoman said the initial call was reported as “shots being fired” and a “male was shot in the stomach” but could not confirm more people were injured. “Police are now on scene and have to secure the area to determine if it’s safe for entry [for paramedics],” she said.
