The attack happened in the early hours of this morning.
The 18-year-old was assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning, just before 2am, on Sauchiehall Street near Hope Street.His condition is described as stable.
Now cops are investigating the attack and believe that it may be linked to an incident that occurred earlier in the evening at the Savoy nightclub.Detective Constable John Fagan of City Centre Police Office said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved in this disturbance and establish the circumstances surrounding this attack.
“We believe that this incident may be linked to an earlier disturbance in the Savoy nightclub and officers are carrying out enquiries to establish more information to confirm those involved had been in the nightclub earlier.The force is on the hunt for two male suspects in relation to the attack. The first is described as white with short, dark hair. DC Fagan added: “This is a very busy area and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Sauchiehall Street in the city centre who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has any information that will assist our investigation to contact officers through 101 quoting reference 0493 of July 10.Share
