A man has died after being hit by a police car in Scotland.
The 62-year-old was taken to the Royal Infirmary hospital in Edinburgh and was pronounced dead a short time later.An investigation has been launched by the Police Investigations and Reviews Commissioner following the crash. Senior Investigator Steven Carr, of the PIRC, said: ‘Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the man who died.
