Man, 77, dead after suspected hit-and-run in Rushcutters Bay

A man is dead after a suspected hit-and-run in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on Friday, sparking a search for the driver of the vehicle.

Police say they found the 77-year-old man injured on Roslyn Street in Rushcutters Bay after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle that didn’t stop about 3.30pm.He died about 3am on Saturday.Officers have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who might have dashcam footage, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
