The man who allegedly helped Isla Bell's accused murderer dispose of the missing Melbourne teenager's body has been granted bail, subject to strict conditions.

The man accused of assisting Isla Bell 's alleged murderer, Eyal Yaffe , has been granted bail with strict conditions.

Investigators told the Melbourne Magistrates' Court there were frequent texts and calls between the pair from the next day, when Mr Yaffe cut short an overnight trip to Warburton hours after speaking with Mr Ganiev on the phone. But defence lawyers argued there was no direct evidence that Mr Yaffe knew Ms Bell had been murdered, a key element to prove the charge.

Detective Curran told the court that Mr Yaffe led an "extravagant lifestyle" with unexplained wealth, and had three bank accounts, two phones and a room full of designer clothes at an address he stayed at in Caulfield.Ms Bell, 19, had been missing for about seven weeks.Prosecutors also argued Mr Yaffe, who the court heard on Friday had a history of offending, posed a risk to the community and could interfere with witnesses in the case.
