It is alleged the 20-year-old man assaulted four different women in the Buderim, Sippy Downs and Mountain Creek areas between August and November.

A man accused of sexually assaulting women on the Sunshine Coast is facing a fresh charge.A man accused of sexually assaulting women as they exercised on the Sunshine Coast is facing a fresh charge after another alleged victim came forward.

Simon Ricardo Barra Yaite, 20, was arrested last month and charged with three counts of sexual assault, with detectives alleging he inappropriately touched three women exercising on footpaths. It is alleged the Mountain Creek man assaulted the women on Glenfields Boulevard at Mountain Creek on September 11, Cavalry Way at Sippy Downs on October 29 and Hawthorn Court at Buderim on November 4 this year.But court documents obtained by the ABC show police have now charged him with an additional sexual assault offence, bringing the total number of alleged victims to four.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Chris Duhig said the alleged assaults took place from behind and the women "had no indication of what was going to happen"."Police treat any incident like this very, very seriously," he said.Mr Barra Yaite is on bail and must report to police three times a week and abide by a curfew between 6pm and 6am.Photo shows A court sketch of a woman with dark skin in a suit flanked by two police officer.
