Man and teen shot during Linda Vista altercation [Breaking]
A man and a teenager were shot after a verbal altercation in the Linda Vista community early Saturday, San Diego police said.
The 29-year-old victim was standing on a Kelly Street sidewalk south of Comstock Street about 12:35 a.m. when two males approached, according to police said. Words were exchanged, and one of the males shot the man in the lower torso, police said. The gunfire also struck a 16-year-old boy standing across the street in the head.Both victims were uncooperative with officers and provided few details about what happened, according to police. They were taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening.
It’s unclear how old the suspected shooters were, described as being between 16 and 20 years old. Police said no one has been arrested.
