A man has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a chase after crossing onto the wrong side of the road in
Officers first observed a white Nissan utility with false registration plates driving along Derrimut Road in Hoppers Crossing about 12.40am. Police allege the ute was travelling 130km/h in a 60km/h zone before crossing onto the wrong side of the road.Police attempted to intercept the ute but it drove off.
The police air wing monitored the ute before officers deployed vehicle immobilisation devices at the intersection of Leakes and Sayers roads.
