The man was arrested in Clifton, but ran off in Paterson as he was being taken to jail.
Police are looking for Isaiah Felix, 20, of Passaic, who ran from officers in Paterson early Monday following his arrest in Clifton. Authorities in Passaic County are looking for a man who fled from police custody after he was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a relative.
Clinton officers were transporting Felix to Passaic County Jail in Paterson around 4 a.m. Monday when, police said, he ran from them in the jail sally port. Felix has ties to Richfield Village apartments on St. Andrews Boulevard in Clifton and multiple addresses in Passaic, police said.
