Two days after 33-year-old Kayla Kelley’s body was found in Grand Prairie,Ocaster Ferguson, 32, also faces charges of kidnapping and arson, with total bail set at $1.5 million. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
According to an arrest-warrant affidavit, Kelley was dating Ferguson, who also goes by the name Kevin Brown, when she found out he was married and using a fake name with her. Kelley told friends she planned to blackmail him, the affidavit said.Kelley was reported missing Jan. 11 after her friends said they hadn’t seen her in “several days,” the Collin County Sheriff’s Office said. Her car was later found “burned beyond recognition” in a remote area in Frisco.
