Jones is accused of shooting the child and her mother during a domestic disturbance about 9:50 p.m. at an apartment in the 400 block of Oxford Street. The girl was pronounced dead at a local hospital.Jones was charged in April with felony evading arrest, and released on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond, court records show. Court information for the capital murder charge was not publicly available Tuesday night.
