An Indian national, Alok Sharma, assaulted a Jetstar airport worker at Perth Airport after experiencing difficulties with his visa and passport.
Alok Sharma, a 43-year-old Indian national, was sentenced for assaulting a Jetstar airport worker at Perth Airport on February 25th. Sharma, who was preparing to board a flight to Bali with his new wife, lost his temper after encountering difficulties with his visa and passport. When told he couldn't cut the queue, Sharma began swearing at the 24-year-old worker. His passport was returned, and he was informed he would not be allowed to board the plane due to his behavior.
An hour later, Sharma returned to the same counter and launched an unprovoked attack on the worker, jumping over the counter, slapping her, and kicking her after she tried to flee
