The words"evil" and"dogs" were scratched onto the face of the monument, which was erected to honour the memory of police officers killed in the line of duty. Police announced late on the same night the man had been charged with destroy or damage property and commit offensive etc act in, on war memorial/interment site.“Police put themselves in danger every day in the service of our state.
