A Melbourne man has been charged in connection with a threat to destroy a tobacco store that was later set alight in regional Victoria 18 months ago.
Victorian detectives have arrested a man in connection with threats and a subsequent fire at a tobacco store at Wangaratta in July 2023.
Taskforce Lunar detectives have charged the the man after executing search warrants at homes in Doreen and Mickleham today.who police allege is the man seen in the video, was arrested at home and appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon.The court heard he was on bail regarding other matters listed before the Broadmeadows Magistrates Court and was on a summons for another matter listed at Moorabbin Magistrates Court.
