A 39-year-old Wynnum West man will face court today after he was charged with attempted murder and arson over a Brisbane house fire that left four people hospitalised.
A man is due to face court today charged with four counts of attempted murder over a fire thatPolice charged a 39-year-old Wynnum West man with attempted murder, arson and trespassing offences at the weekend.
Police allege the man set fire to the house on Kitchener Street in Coorparoo at 3:00am on October 1 while a man and woman in their 40s and two young children were inside. The Queensland Ambulance Service said a 30-year-old woman who was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with severe burnsA five-year-old girl was taken to the Brisbane Children's Hospital with burns to her face and a three-year-old suffered smoke inhalation and was also hospitalised.The blaze destroyed the Coorparoo home and prompted neighbouring residents to evacuate.
