Man charged with murder after fatal stabbing in Sydney’s west | ameliamcguiree
A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a woman to death in Sydney’s west on Monday evening.
The 58-year-old attended Wetherill Park police station about 9pm on Monday to speak with police. He was subsequently arrested. Officers were then sent to a home on Christie Street in Prairiewood, where the body of a 62-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds.A crime scene was established and the vehicle the man drove to the police station was seized.
The man is being held at Fairfield police station and will face Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday over the alleged murder.
