The partner of slain mum-of-four Drew Douglas has been charged with murder by New South Wales Police.

She pledged the"nature and further detail will be subject to critical incident investigation" by authorities. Despite this, she added that Ms Douglas' partner did not have any pending charges for violent acts and he was not subject to any AVOs at the time of the attack.
