A Yagoona man has appeared before Parramatta Local Court from his hospital bedside, charged with the murder of Five Dock man John Odisho.
Since then he has remained there under police guard and Strike Force Wesson detectives on Thursday charged him with Mr Odisho's murder as well as shooting with intent to murder, commission of a serious indictable offence and special aggravated break and enter.Just before 4am on Monday, two men scaled the balcony to an apartment in Five Dock. They burst into the unit where Mr Odisho and a male relative slept.They were both taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where Mr Odisho died.
"It's with deep sadness that we share with you all some devastating news. Senior player John Odisho ... has sadly lost his life in a horrific incident in Five Dock earlier this week," he wrote.
