Police have charged a man with two counts of murder and will allege he failed to contact emergency services after two people were found unresponsive on Thursday.
A 41-year-old man has been charged with two counts of murder and drug-related offences after two people were found dead at a house in Brisbane's north on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the property at Kentville Street in Mitchelton at 8.50am and found two people unresponsive.A 61-year-old Keperra man and a 35-year-old Mitchelton woman were declared dead at the scene, police said in a statement.Police will allege the man was known to the pair and failed to contact emergency services.
"Following extensive investigations, police subsequently charged the man with two counts of murder , and two counts each of supply dangerous drugs and possess dangerous drugs," police said.
