Manchester City suffered Champions League heartbreak at the Etihad on Wednesday night and must now lift themselves for two big games in the next week.

They are capable of picking themselves up off the canvas and finding a way to reach another FA Cup final. That is what City are trying to avoid, both this weekend at Wembley against Chelsea and on Thursday night against Brighton at the Amex Stadium. It was only two days ago that Bernardo Silva was talking about a Double Treble being City's legacy, but it's possible they kick-off on Thursday night out of Europe, out of the FA Cup and third in the Premier League, four points behind Liverpool and Arsenal.
